I’m out in Las Vegas at the WebTrends Engage 2009 Conference. Justin Kistner is out here, too, and he’s one of the founders of Beer and Blog. We’re going to visit the folks here in Vegas on our last night to see how Beer and Blog Las Vegas is going.
Justin gave me some great shwag to return to Indianapolis to launch our inaugural event next Friday. I think our first will be a safe move – we can have it at Rock Bottom downtown Indy. They’ve got plenty of room and they have wireless. Everyone okay with that?
I know I still need to set up some logins for fellow beer and bloggers… I’ll get right on that this weekend.
Hello Indianapolis bloggers! I’d like to pull together a list of venues who might be interested in hosting a weekly Beer and Blog. I put in a few calls but haven’t had much of a response. If you’re a restaurant or club owner in the area and meet the following requirements, we’d like to send you some business:
- You sell good beer.
- You have good, free wireless.
- You can host 50 or more bloggers.
If there’s a specific night you’d like us to meet (so we don’t take up your busier nights), please let me know! Just comment on this post and let us know you’re interested.
